About The Position

Board-certified primary care physician needed for weekend coverage in a clinical correctional setting near Sacramento, CA. Duties include conducting medical assessments & evaluations, treating emergent & routine health concerns, managing chronic conditions & supporting preventive health initiatives. The practice will consider Family Practice (FP), Internal Medicine (IM), or Emergency Medicine (EM) trained providers. This opportunity features an adult patient population and a weekend work schedule (Saturday and/or Sunday) with approximately 8-10 hours per shift. Providers can expect to see 12-14 patients per day and will benefit from a cohesive medical staff, A+ rated malpractice coverage, and a fast credentialing process.

Requirements

• BC Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Emergency Medicine
• Active, unrestricted California Medical License
• Current DEA
• 3 Current References
