About The Position
Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an Internal/Family Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient practice in Naples, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to practice outpatient-only primary care in a supportive, community-focused environment while being part of a growing healthcare network. Physicians will provide comprehensive care to adult patients while collaborating with specialists and hospital-based providers within the Central Maine Healthcare system.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for or currently holding a Maine medical license
- DEA certification (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care for adult patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Coordinate care with specialists and hospital-based providers
- Participate in preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
- Maintain accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and care teams
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
