About The Position
This position involves driving delivery trucks for the Forest Hills School District, handling the transportation of supplies, equipment, mail, and other designated items between schools and district activities. The role requires adherence to a schedule, maintaining vehicle condition reports, and daily handling of school monies. The job is full-time and is based at the Forest Hills School District Main Office.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 18 years of age or more.
- Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.
Responsibilities
- Drive delivery trucks on scheduled and unscheduled trips.
- Load, haul and unload supplies and equipment, mail, freight, and express and/or other designated items.
- Assume responsibility for operating a schedule delivery route between the schools and central district activities.
- Write requests for vehicle repairs and accident reports.
- Pick up and deposit school monies daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
