About The Position

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager as part of the plant’s Supply Chain team and is responsible for internal logistics including allocation of material to orders, and maintenance of logistics related information in SAP.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and databases preferred.
  • Results-driven to deliver consistent improvement in inventory management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Create production work orders.
  • Review active work orders and take action to ensure correct material allocation.
  • Ensure work orders are dated accurately and completed work orders are closed each week.
  • Monitor production reporting in SAP daily, advising the supply chain team of adjustments needed to reflect accurate production.
  • Audit the rail side area and compare to SAP records.
  • Adjust material’s storage bin and perform MIGO transactions for inventory adjustments.
  • Arrange freight for outbound deliveries to customer plants including small RM orders.
  • Verify material availability from picking lists.
  • Process shipping paperwork.
  • Cross-train in other positions within Materials group to serve as backup support as needed.
