About The Position

As an Internal Control Analyst specializing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our federal client's operations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement effective internal control processes. Your expertise will help identify risks, recommend improvements, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This position is located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of current internal control processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective internal control frameworks.
  • Develop and document policies and procedures to support internal control objectives.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed reports, training materials, and presentations.
  • Provide training and support to staff on internal control processes and best practices.
  • Participate in and lead client stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide analysis of Guide to Judiciary Policy updates and how they affect internal control issues
  • Provide guidance and support to the client community in the internal control program space
  • Work in a team environment sharing knowledge and expertise regarding internal control policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with team members and the client community to raise awareness of future needs of the client and provide input for projects, scheduling, etc.
