About The Position

East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC) is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. This position focuses on delivering safe therapeutic care for progressive care patients in a holistic and systematic manner. The role involves incorporating patient differences into care, integrating knowledge and skills to meet patient and family needs across the continuum, and providing patient and family education. The nurse will utilize standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways for care delivery, use data to improve care and outcomes, administer medications according to standard nursing practice, and take responsibility for self-development to improve practice settings.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Active Alabama Board of Nursing License
• BLS obtained within 90 days of hire
• ACLS obtained within 12 months of hire

Nice To Haves

• BSN
• 1 to 2 years of step-down or med/surg experience
• PCCN

Responsibilities
