Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, English, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, journalism, or related roles.
Excellent writing and editing skills with a passion for clarity, storytelling, and translating complex topics into simple, engaging messages.
A proactive mindset in which you notice the communication need before someone asks.
Ability to think both tactically and strategically, moving quickly between drafting content and contributing to big-picture planning.
Curiosity and business acumen in which you want to understand how the business works so you can tell the story well.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort working cross-functionally, building relationships, and adapting to different communication styles.
A desire to continuously improve processes, channels, and team rituals.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting technical or engineering audiences or in aviation/defense is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of internal communication plans aligned to business priorities and enterprise initiatives.
Work as a consultative partner to functions such as HR, Operations, IT, Engineering, and others to understand their objectives and translate them into clear, impactful communication.
Write and edit a wide range of content including company-wide emails, intranet articles, leadership messages, video scripts, talking points, FAQs, event content, and digital signage.
Help manage Bell’s internal communication channels, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and accessible.
Contribute to the integrated communications calendar and help maintain rhythm-of-business messaging.
Support enterprise events such as town halls, employee activations, leadership meetings, and engagement activities.
Use metrics and feedback to measure impact and recommend improvements.
Anticipate communication needs and proactively recommend solutions, not just react to incoming requests.
Support crisis or incident communications with clarity, accuracy, and speed when needed.
