We are looking for a driven and highly capable Internal Communications Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team and play a crucial role in shaping how our story is told. Reporting directly to the Internal Communications Manager, you aren't just checking off a task list; you are a driver of our culture, sitting at the intersection of Internal Communications, Employer Brand, and Corporate Social Responsibility. Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills are a must, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in video production and editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar mobile editing tools).
  • Experience in content development across a variety of internal channels.
  • Proficiency with Google Slides, Keynote, or Prezi.
  • A genuine passion for storytelling and an understanding of how to tailor messages to influence audience behavior.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability in copyediting and proofreading to deliver error-free deliverables.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Comfortable and curious about leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, brainstorm creative content, and streamline communication workflows.
  • This role is based in the Greater Boston area to support in-office events and join the team in office at least once per month.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of internal communications that promote business objectives, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Drive measurable impact by analyzing communication KPIs and engagement metrics, ensuring all content is delivered on time and remains consistent with our internal brand voice.
  • Draft, edit, format, and send communications across multiple channels including but not limited to email, slack, intranet, and more.
  • Produce, script, and edit video content to drive engagement across multiple internal channels.
  • Maintain the Internal Communications calendar to optimize message timing and ensure coordinated delivery.
  • Act as a trusted supporter to key internal stakeholders, providing guidance on content, tone, and timing.
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of internal events such as monthly virtual all-hands, quarterly leadership events, and bi-annual company-wide gatherings.
  • Manage and update the company’s careers website to ensure content is current, visually compelling, and reflective of the employee experience.
  • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to create compelling content that attracts top-tier candidates and drives internal referrals.
  • Capture on-the-ground photography at company events and office locations to build an authentic, always-on library of employer brand assets.
  • Support the day-to-day management of employer platforms including Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn Life pages, and BuiltIn.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to gather stories and assets that bring the employee experience to life for external audiences.
  • Steward the planning, timely execution, and announcement of award submissions and third-party recognition.
  • Support the execution and internal promotion of CSR initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for giving partnerships, managing ongoing relationships with CSR partners to ensure mutual value and impact.
  • Support the creation and promotion of key impact artifacts, including the annual Social Impact Report and quarterly CSR one-pagers.
  • Help communicate our commitment to our communities effectively both internally and externally.
