About The Position

The Internal Audit Assistant performs audit functions and provides general support to the Internal Audit Department. Duties include various activities which ensure internal controls and compliance measures are followed. This position involves frequent communication with Credit Union staff, preparation of work papers and reports, and other projects as assigned by the Director of Internal Audit.

Requirements

  • two or more years of audit experience, preferably in a Credit Union or other financial institution
  • good understanding of pertinent laws and regulations
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent organizational skills
  • the ability to communicate with clarity and tact
  • General computer skills, including proficiency with Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • degree in Accounting or Finance
