About The Position

In addition, FirstHealth has received numerous accolades for its patient care and outcomes, including recognitions from Healthgrades, U.S. News & World Report, and Becker's Healthcare. 4 Medical is a 27-bed Medical-surgical unit that encompasses a multi-disciplinary approach in providing patient care. Nurses specialize in delivering patient centered care to patients ranging in age from young adult to geriatric. Nurses are trained and equipped with the knowledge to care for patients with, but not limited to, diabetes, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, infectious disease, invasive and noninvasive cardiology, pulmonary, and nephrology. The patients may or may not require cardiac monitoring. This diverse group of medical patients provides nurses with an excellent learning atmosphere to develop strong nursing skills, autonomy, and critical thinking while promoting growth and development.
Requirements
- At least 1 year recent acute care experience required.
- NC RN License or Multistate RN License required.
- BCLS required.

Responsibilities
- Will be working 72/hrs per pay period as a staff RN for 12 weeks.
