Turtle has the internship for you! As an Intern, you will spend the summer learning core business functions. Under management supervision, Interns will be tasked with completing 1 or 2 business related projects. At the end of the summer internship, Interns will take part in a formal presentation to senior leadership on the completed projects. To facilitate this knowledge gathering, Interns will rotate through key departments; gaining an understanding of our business, processes and culture. Key components of the Turtle Internship experience may include, but are not limited to: Electrical Sales Warehouse Operations Electrical Project Management Logistics Supply Chain Data Analysis E-Commerce Marketing

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s in business, sales, industrial distribution or a related field
Participation in extracurricular activities to demonstrate time management and multitasking skills
Attend all activities sponsored by Turtle during employment
Drive to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take ownership of the project and see it to the end
Ability to analyze and assess situations to come up with the best solution
Agile mindset
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be well organized, detail oriented, efficient, with good time management, and ready to support at a moment’s notice
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check
Complete & Submit on-line application, resume, transcripts

Responsibilities

Gain an understanding of the basics of e-commerce
Develop further skill sets in data analysis with real world applications in relation to E-Commerce
Exposure to a fast-growing company that is in the process of launching an E-commerce presence
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Introduction to real world application of Agile thinking
Exposure to Supply Chain logistics, maintenance and operations
Developing skill sets for social media applications and analytics
Aiding in the development of marketing plans, CRM maintenance and event
