About The Position

Rogers Corporation is seeking an Intern to support day-to-day operations/engineering improvements and projects.Essential Functions:
Learn the site's manufacturing processes. Document current-state manufacturing, shipping, and warehouse processes through direct observation and collaboration with operations staff. Assist in troubleshooting efforts.
Develop, update, and standardize work instructions and process documentation to ensure work instructions are clear and accurate.
Contribute to process optimization, cost saving, and streamlining initiatives. Lead one short term project.
Contribute to safety related projects and investigations

Requirements

• A student who has completed their sophomore year toward a BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Due to ITAR regulations must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Completion of junior year toward a BS degree is preferred.
