About The Position

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic and proactive Intern to join our NYC team in a team assistant capacity to help ensure our operations run smoothly and our culture thrives. We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This role will be part-time (20 hours per week), primarily in our Manhattan office, though with some flexibility to work from home on occasion. Please note, you will need to be available during and outside of the university semester, though there is some flexibility to work around university commitments, such as lectures, exams etc. Salary: Hourly compensation of $70,000 full-time equivalent About us: Orbit Partners is the leading global advisory firm connecting the best Industry Advisors to the best Private Equity Investors for high-impact collaborations. Requirements

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, proactive mindset, and a desire to own your work

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Collaborative team player who can multitask and able to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in working with systems such as the Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Some previous experience operating in an office environment
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms would be an advantage.
  • Basic tech knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and other administrative tasks on our CRM, including creating user and account profiles, and uploading data relating to private equity deal
  • Maintaining and organising printed materials for the commercial team, including deck printing, binding, and presentation prep.
  • Scheduling internal and external meetings for the commercial team, including client calls.
  • Basic tech support for the team and liaising with our operations team regarding trickier issues.
  • Managing office facilities, supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
  • Supporting new joiners with onboarding logistics: headshots, Wi‑Fi credentials, tech setup, Q&A, and training schedule coordination.
  • Organising team socials, the annual summer offsite and the Christmas party
  • Facilitating events, such as CSR events or Assessment Centre days by organising catering, room bookings etc.
  • Fostering a positive office culture through team-building activities, in conjunction with the Human Resources team.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for office-related queries.
  • Monitoring office budgets and expenses.
