About The Position

TW Constructors has provided the best in design/build construction, interior renovation, and construction management to companies in the St. Louis market and Nationwide for over 20 years. As an Intern you will have the opportunity to shadow experienced Project Engineers, Project Managers, Estimators, and Safety Professionals. In this role you will be part of the team responsible for taking projects from the conceptual stages through the closeout of a project. You will experience active job site visits, hands on work experience, and valuable safety training.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university
• Foundational understanding of construction principles and practices
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a flexible, collaborative approach to working with diverse teams
• Creative, results-driven, and able to work with a sense of urgency
• Committed to upholding and promoting a Safety-First culture
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of navigating active construction sites, including walking, climbing ladders, and accessing multi-floor scaffolding
• Fast-paced work environment—appropriate job site footwear and attire required
• Projects are located nationwide; travel may be required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work is a plus
• Prior internship or project engineering experience on projects valued at $5 million or more (design-build experience preferred)

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop and maintain project schedules
• Support the creation of accurate project forecasts and budgets
• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities
• You will have leadership and guidance to support project teams throughout all phases
