Requirements

Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate or graduate ABET-accredited engineering program
Ability to work full-time during Summer 2027

Nice To Haves

Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career at Boeing
Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
Previous related internship or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
Majoring in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other related engineering fields
The ability to relocate and work onsite

Responsibilities

Structural Analysis & Design Engineering. Boeing Commercial Engineering offers internship opportunities across structural analysis, product design, sustaining engineering, test, and materials/process support.
Interns work alongside experienced engineers supporting the design, analysis, certification, production, and in-service support of commercial aerostructures.
Assignments may support programs such as 737, 777X, 787, aftermarket/fleet support, propulsion structures, and emerging development programs.
Potential internship assignments may include: Structural/stress analysis using analytical methods, finite-element models, and engineering tools.
Aircraft structural design, configuration, definition, and drawing/model development.
Sustaining and fleet-support engineering, repair development, and certification support.
Structural/fire test planning, execution, data review, and engineering documentation.
Materials and process engineering support for production and supply chain issues.
