We are currently seeking a motivated and career-minded Intern to join our year-round internship program, gaining hands-on experience across our Audit, Tax, and Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice areas while building a strong foundation for a career in public accounting.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Completion of sophomore-level coursework or Intermediate Accounting coursework preferred.
Strong academic performance and an interest in pursuing a career in public accounting.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take on new challenges.

Nice To Haves

Previous internship or work experience in accounting, finance, or a professional services environment.
Familiarity with accounting software and technology tools.
Involvement in accounting, finance, or business-related student organizations.
Interest in pursuing CPA licensure.

Responsibilities

Participate in a structured internship experience that provides exposure to ELO's Audit, Tax, and Client Accounting Services practice areas.
Assist team members with client engagements, projects, and service-related activities.
Support engagement teams by completing assigned tasks and contributing to project objectives.
Demonstrate accountability for assigned responsibilities and communicate proactively regarding progress and questions.
Collaborate with team members across departments, service lines, and office locations.
Build an understanding of professional standards, client expectations, and public accounting best practices.
Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
