About The Position

Cambridge Mobile Telematics (CMT) is the world’s largest telematics service provider, aiming to make roads and drivers safer through its AI-driven platform, DriveWell Fusion®. This platform analyzes sensor data from various IoT devices and contextual information to provide insights into vehicle and driver behavior. Auto insurers, automakers, commercial mobility companies, and the public sector utilize CMT's platform for risk assessment, safety, claims, and driver improvement programs. CMT is headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with global offices and protects tens of millions of drivers worldwide. CMT is seeking motivated college students for summer 2024 internships. Interns will collaborate with various teams, receive mentorship, and contribute to making roads and drivers safer in a fast-paced environment. The internship offers opportunities to work on business-focused projects, present findings, learn internal software systems, develop professional skills, gain valuable experience, receive mentorship, and participate in networking events.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for finding answers in data
Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

Work on business-focused projects and present your project findings during company standups
Learn and become proficient on internal software systems
