About The Position
Fehr Graham, a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm, is seeking motivated Civil Engineering students for a summer internship. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including municipal and environmental engineering. Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with or ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Strong speaking and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Team player.

Responsibilities
- Assist with construction observation, including measuring quantities and ensuring construction meets standards.
- Review and edit engineering plans to meet Fehr Graham standards.
- Sharpen CAD skills, complete basic design computations, and assist the project team with deliverables.
- Learn engineering standards and how state and local regulations are incorporated into design.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other team members.
- Develop leadership skills that build autonomy.
