The Opportunity We are seeking a Student Intern to support field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with natural gas compression equipment, field maintenance activities, troubleshooting processes, and operational procedures. The Student Intern will work alongside experienced technicians, participate in field projects and inspections, and develop practical technical skills that support the safe and efficient delivery of energy. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical / trades program
  • Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
  • Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term
  • Successfully complete pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing
  • All applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based, without restrictions.
  • Background screening is required for all positions, which may include criminal and/or credit checks.

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment
  • Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and operational procedures
  • Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work
  • Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision
  • Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to a field technician role
