About The Position

EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the team at our Uptime Center in Columbia, MO for the SUMMER of 2026. Primary Responsibilities Assist in monitoring telematics and equipment performance data. Support analysis of uptime and downtime trends. Help maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership and operations teams. Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks. Assist with identifying anomalies or patterns that may indicate maintenance needs. Support predictive and preventive maintenance analytics initiatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of: Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
• Experience with Python or R (coursework or projects).
• Interest in predictive analytics or reliability engineering.
• SQL or willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to operations, manufacturing, fleet management, or equipment-heavy industries a plus
• Data visualization tools (preferred but not required)
