About The Position

The primary purpose of the Undergraduate Internship is to provide students with meaningful, field‑related experience in their chosen area of study. Interns are expected to observe the daily functions and processes of their assigned work unit and may also receive selected work assignments designed to reinforce learning, assess performance, and contribute to the team’s work. As part of this internship, the student will support early-stage development of a humanoid robotic platform to help push the boundaries of clinical robotics in a high-impact, real-world, clinical innovation environment at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville campus. Interns are responsible for completing all required internship‑related assignments and reports for both Mayo Clinic and their participating educational institution. The duration and timing of the internship will be arranged collaboratively with the intern and the sponsoring educational facility. Placement in the internship program does not include financial assistance for relocation, housing, or transportation. All interns must successfully complete a pre‑employment drug test and criminal background check.
