About The Position

This position supports market risk and capital structure functions within Treasury through a mix of strategic project work and day-to-day activities. The intern will learn about Constellation’s Treasury function and gain experience working with the organization. The role is based in Rochester, New York, in a professional corporate office environment, and may involve commercial travel to domestic and international locations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree candidate in Finance or Economics.
Strong working knowledge of finance, economics, and general business.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience or understanding of Bloomberg.
Experience in financial modeling or business analytics.

Responsibilities

Support and advance ongoing project initiatives within the Treasury department.
Assist the cash management team in improving processes and reports using technologies such as AI and macros.
Lead efforts to streamline financial-reporting file enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support the debt capital markets team’s work on share repurchase strategy, interest rate hedging, macroeconomic analysis, and other projects.
Coordinate data collection and provide analysis needed to issue updated rate guidance for the business.
Learn and support Constellation’s market risk management strategy and execution.
Attend meetings with external and internal business partners to learn about current and future market trends and their impacts on Constellation.
Use Bloomberg for market data research and risk analysis, and help streamline efficiency.
Drive business results through collaboration with internal departments and external counterparties.
