Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Intern – Traction Power who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Pearl City, HI. Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft 360 applications – Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
• Strong relevant technical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem anticipation and solving techniques, strong at troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of and ability to analyze electrical schematics.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week onsite
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience in Traction Power systems, substations, UPS systems, power distribution, and rail transit operations.
