About The Position

FTI Consulting is seeking innovative, collaborative, and highly motivated students for its summer 2027 internship program, which runs from late May 2027 to August 2027. This program is a key pathway to entry-level consultant positions, offering interns valuable experience and consideration for future full-time roles. The Technology Intern role involves working with corporations, governments, and law firms on critical legal and regulatory needs, including investigations, e-discovery, information governance, digital forensics, data privacy, document review consulting, and project management. Interns will learn skills in e-discovery, digital forensics, and case management. The Advanced Analytics Researcher Intern role focuses on investigative fact-finding using advanced analytics within the Find Facts Fast (FFF) service, mining large datasets, performing substantive research, and analyzing information to identify case-critical documents and prepare summaries for strategic decision-making. These interns will develop skills in FTI’s Find Facts Fast and advanced analytics research, as well as e-discovery and document review consulting.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree or completing a fifth-year master’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 – September 2028.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship program (late May 2027 – August 2027).
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as a full-time employee; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
Ability to travel to clients and FTI Consulting office(s).

Responsibilities

Work with corporations, governments, and law firms to meet critical legal and regulatory needs.
Engage in investigations, e-discovery, information governance, digital forensics, data privacy, document review consulting, and project management.

Conduct investigative fact-finding with advanced analytics to mine large datasets.
Perform substantive research and analysis to quickly identify case-critical documents.
Prepare comprehensive summaries and documentation of material facts, key issues, and themes for strategic decision-making.
Become a member of a project team and work closely with professionals and senior leaders to meet client needs.
