About The Position
JEA is excited to invite students to apply for our paid 2026 Summer Internship Program. Selected interns will gain valuable, hands-on experience working in a dynamic, real-world environment while building a professional network. This program offers a unique opportunity to develop essential leadership, professional etiquette, and presentation skills that will prepare you for future career success. Technology Internship As a Technology Intern at JEA, you will experience firsthand how technology drives the operations of a major electric, water, and wastewater utility. You'll have the chance to contribute to impactful projects across various areas including enterprise architecture, application development, infrastructure services, and more, enhancing your technical skills and industry knowledge in the process.
Requirements
- Be a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following preferred fields: Technology-related programs such as Computer Science, Data Science, GIS, or Information Systems
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Submit a copy of your official academic transcripts to verify your GPA
- Availability to work 32 hours per week for a 13-week period between May and August
