About The Position

IT Support Specialists Interns are responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues in computer hardware, software, services, and applications. Their duties require broader knowledge in areas of server, network, security, computer hardware, software, application, and IT provisioning.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of relevant IT end-user desktop and laptop computer, printer, server, network, security, computer hardware, software, and applications.
  • Provision application accounts, assigning roles and permissions for multiple corporate systems and environments. Follow strict process and procedures to ensure audit and security compliance.
  • Solid problem-solving, issue interpretation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to details.
  • Good organization, time management, and prioritization.
  • Effective working both in teams and individually.
  • Continuous learning - demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and resolve technical problems with some training and supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Support troubleshooting and maintaining IT computer services, including workstation computers, printers, servers, network, security, and applications.
  • Interact with clients on a day-to-day basis in addressing problems, training the clients as needed, using the appropriate ITIL tools, and proposing technical solutions.
  • Work with third-party and various teams as needed to overcome issues efficiently.
  • Support monitoring and installation of security patches to keep devices running satisfactorily and in compliance.
  • Assist in analysis and improvements when resolving technical issues within broader IT areas.
