About The Position

This is a part-time, paid internship opportunity starting on August 10, 2027, and ending on October 1, 2027. Pinion, the nation's leading food and ag consulting and accounting firm, is seeking curious, driven students to gain hands-on experience in tax and audit. Interns will work alongside professionals, applying academic knowledge to real client work, collaborating across the firm, and utilizing technology. This role offers invaluable business exposure and consideration for future employment opportunities upon successful completion.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time).

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
• Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
• Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.
