About The Position

This is a paid internship opportunity for students currently enrolled in any university or college in the state of Montana. The internship starts on January 4, 2028, and ends on April 14, 2028. It is a full-time or part-time role where interns will gain hands-on experience in tax and audit, working alongside professionals. Pinion is a leading food and ag consulting and accounting firm that fosters a collaborative, growth-oriented, and joy-filled culture. Interns will apply their education to real-world scenarios, work with staff and leaders at all levels, and be considered for future employment opportunities upon successful completion of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
• Fully in the office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
• Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
• Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.
