About The Position
WEC Business Services LLC, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Intern - Supply Chain in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2027 with potential for part-time during the academic year. The hourly rate for this internship is $21.30 with paid company holidays. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office. The Procurement/Supply Chain Intern will assist with the delivery of materials and services within the Procurement Department. We employ students for summer and year-round opportunities to help design creative cost effective systems and equipment that keep the energy flowing to our customers in a safe and reliable manner. Requirements
- High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or closely related degree with a graduation date after June 2027
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide support to Procurement areas working with the current processes to ensure high service levels to our internal customers
- Manage and execute projects assigned by the Procurement managers or directors, which support process improvement or business enhancements for WEC Energy Group
- Work on both personal computer and Procurement applications (e.g. SAP, Taulia, AdobeSign, Woods Makenzie, etc.). Heavy use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Assist on miscellaneous special projects
- Assisting the Business Performance team in data management, procurement support, and accounts payable support
- Assisting buyers in creation and management of Purchase Orders and Contracts
- Assisting buyers in request for quote, proposal, and information process
- Assisting the Business Performance team in request for quote, proposal, and information process, as needed
