You must be enrolled in college during the program. The Supply Chain Procurement & Material Management Department has a summer internship position available at Energy Transfer’s Houston office. The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the natural gas industry, gaining experience in Supply Chain processes, language, purchase orders, inventory management and other supply chain activities.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in college during the program
• Must possess a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
• Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
• Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization

Responsibilities

• Learn the sourcing processes and requirements for projects
• Learn inventory care & custody processes
• Gain experience in Supply Chain processes, language, purchase orders, inventory management and other supply chain activities
