EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering discipline. DESCRIPTION : TAI Engineers is currently seeking Structural Engineers. Primary responsibilities include: Support in preparing finite element models for static as well as dynamic analyses including global strength and spectral fatigue analyses. Prepare technical reports documenting analysis methodology, results, and conclusions. Carrying out structural analysis using standard beam analysis software, performing hand calculations, and providing engineering conclusions based on the analysis data. Performs structural design and analysis of new built as well as existing marine structures. Familiar with marine engineering guidelines such as ABS Rules, DNV Rules Internship requires completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies from an accredited college or university pursuing an engineering degree. Must have working knowledge of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment. Previous internship experience is preferred, but not required. Must possess the eligibility to work and remain in the U.S. without sponsorship.
