Huawei Canada has an immediate internship opening for an Intern Embodied AI Researcher. The Noah’s Ark lab, founded in 2012, is a prominent research organization focused on advancing artificial intelligence and related fields. The lab's mission is to enhance state-of-the-art research and integrate innovations into products and services, covering areas like LLMs, RL, NLP, computer vision, AI theory, and Autonomous driving. This role involves conducting cutting-edge research on safe and reliable embodied AI systems, with a focus on robotic manipulation and autonomous decision making. Responsibilities include developing novel reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and learning-from-demonstration algorithms, designing methods for leveraging failure cases and human feedback, and developing/studying Vision-Language-Action (VLA) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for embodied intelligence. The intern will implement, train, and evaluate models in simulation and real-world robotic environments, collaborate with researchers and engineers, stay current with AI advancements, and publish research findings.
