About The Position
Neomorph is seeking a summer intern to join the Research Operations this summer. This role will support the day-to-day operations of a dynamic research environment, ensuring that laboratory activities run efficiently and without interruption. This role provides hands-on exposure to lab operations, automation support, vendor coordination, and facility development. The intern will work closely with the Research Operations team and scientists while contributing to the design and build-out of facilities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to laboratories or research environments
- Familiarity with lab equipment or automation systems
- Experience with inventory or procurement processes
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Adobe
Responsibilities
- Support daily laboratory operations, including maintaining lab organization, equipment readiness, and supply coordination
- Assist scientists with basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and automation systems
- Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service requests
- Track orders and manage inventory of lab supplies and consumables
- Maintain documentation related to lab operations and vendor interactions
- Support facility design and build-out efforts at 5810 and 5820 Nancy Ridge Drive
- Assist with lab setup, equipment installation, and space organization
- Contribute to process improvements for operational efficiency
