About The Position

BCBST’s BlueBridge Internship program is seeking an Intern for our Provider Network Team! The Provider Data Reporting Intern will have the opportunity to learn data analysis from seasoned professionals as part of a team. Responsibilities include completing tasks and assignments, building reports and ETL processes, supporting duties and manual tasks, and developing reports and data integrations.

Requirements

Active college students (in an accredited college or university) who have completed a minimum of two years of college are eligible.
Recent college graduates and students enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral program (in an accredited college or university) are also eligible.
Must provide transcripts.
Active full-time BCBST employees are not eligible to participate in the program.
Able to prioritize, work independently, and effectively manage time and resources.
Effective communication skills: written and verbal.
Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Appropriate decision-making skills required.
Must have a 2.75 GPA or higher

Nice To Haves

Majors in Information Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or MIS.
Preference for post-graduates.
Rising juniors or seniors are eligible as well.
Must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone
Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical mindset, clear communication, and collaboration skills with a curiosity and willingness to learn.
Experience with SQL query design, SSRS, Power BI, and SSIS
