Intern - Productivity Data & Industrial Events
About The Position
This intern will help strengthen data visibility and team development by tracking productivity metrics and mapping relevant industry events. The role involves researching and compiling a catalog of industry events, identifying potential sponsors, and aligning activities for team members. Additionally, the intern will assist with refreshing existing dashboards, exploring ServiceNow for workflow improvements, and supporting data integration into Tableau. Key responsibilities include pulling data from Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy, and documenting data sources and definitions. The capstone deliverables are an "AE Events & Activities" catalog and updated AE productivity dashboards, presented in a slideshow format.
Requirements

- Skills in data analysis and visualization.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, and ServiceNow is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail for data accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to document data sources, field definitions, and assumptions.
- Proficiency in creating slideshow presentations.

- Understanding of industrial events and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Research and compile a catalog of relevant industry conferences, webinars, and technical events for the Application Engineering team.
- For each event, identify potential sponsors (internal or external) and align at least one activity or opportunity per team member (e.g., attending, presenting, training).
- Review existing dashboards and assist with refreshing visualizations and definitions.
- Explore current use of ServiceNow for AE-related workflows and identify opportunities to improve or standardize data capture.
- Support the refresh of dashboards by pulling quote drawing request data from Salesforce.
- Support integration or data feeds into Tableau.
- Spot-check and double-check data for accuracy and consistency.
- Document data sources, field definitions, and any assumptions used in dashboards or reports.
