About The Position
The Product Engineering team within our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Fall & Spring block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Buffalo, NY. Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
- GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
- Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the assembly and test of electronic boxes on Military Aircrafts both at the Design Center and Production Center.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements (including assembly fixtures and tools).
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog, such as circuit card rework, work instruction creation, and assembly/test process development.
- Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
- Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
- Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
- Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
