About The Position
The Project Management department manages all the capital projects for Tallgrass including natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia transportation, and CO2 sequestration. The selected candidates will work in the Tallgrass Project Management department in Houston, Texas. The intern’s main responsibility will be to support the Procurement Manager in the day-to-day running of a major project. You will become part of the project management team of a project.
Requirements
- Students actively enrolled in an approved bachelor’s or master’s Industrial Engineering and or Supply Chain program with expected graduation date of December 2026- May 2028.
- Microsoft Office expert level
- Excellent math skills
Nice To Haves
- A high GPA
- Foreign Language skills
- Can do attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the evaluation of technical bids and proposals, organizing bid tabulations, etc.
- Data quality review of third-party engineering deliverables
- Aiding in the creating procurement processes and procedures.
- Supporting the auditing efforts, maintaining logs of requests and keeping minutes of meetings
- Cataloging and archiving vendor documents
- Assist in preparation of reports and ad Hoc tasks as requested by the Procurement Manager.
