Summary : The Winston-Salem operations team is seeking a summer intern who is prepared to assist with process improvement, provide analytical thinking and support data-driven projects. During your 8 to 12 weeks in this role, you will actively participate in continuous improvement projects, raw material qualifications and daily production support.
Requirements
- Current pursuit of a full-time undergraduate degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or related field
- Demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity, and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Acute attention to detail with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of Minitab
- Strong motivation and work ethics and the ability to work independently, ability to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines
Responsibilities
- Support and document machine trials
- Conduct lab testing of trail materials
- Perform data analysis
- Work with Process Engineers to provide production support
