About The Position

CenterSquare Investment Management, an independent, employee-owned real asset manager, is offering a 10-week Private Equity Real Estate internship from June to August. The program is based in the Conshohocken, PA office and is an in-office position. Interns will work with the Private Equity Real Estate team on underwriting, acquisitions, asset management, financing, and disposition of real estate investments. The internship aims to provide hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the firm's operations.

Requirements

Strong academic background and GPA, majoring in finance, accounting or economics
A keen interest in real estate, the stock market and/or macroeconomic events
Superior knowledge of excel required (i.e. vlookups, macros and index)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Outgoing personality, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

Develop cash flow projections utilizing Argus and Excel software
Learn the due diligence process for proposed acquisitions
Create and maintain Argus models for commercial properties
Research and collect financial and market data for use in investment decisions
Participate in portfolio and broker meetings
Participate in tours of local assets, when available
Attend weekly lunch and learn sessions with various professionals in the organization to gain an understanding of how the firm operates
Gain exposure to portfolio managers and senior leaders in the organization
Receive professional guidance from an assigned mentor throughout the internship
Attend social networking activities
Prepare and deliver a project presentation to team members/senior leaders at the close of the internship
