Requirements

  • High School Student, OR College student currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology or related field
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties including filing, faxing, and answering phones.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate an open exchange of ideas and provide effective communication by listening to others.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times within the legal framework, adhering to established guidelines and the agency's adopted code of ethics.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor that reflects confidence, positive self-esteem, and overall professionalism when interacting with clients, co-workers, families, and referral sources.
  • Adhere to all applicable evidence-based practice models.
  • Communicate information effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing.
  • Ensure the program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
  • Undertake other job duties and special projects as assigned.
