About The Position
Assist Wolf Trap Opera & Classical Programming in the daily operations of the department, which includes: Tracking Artist and Creative Staff Housing, Liaising with artists to prepare for the summer season, and Aid in the financial preparations for summer contractors.
Requirements
- Interest in pursuing a career in opera or classical music administration
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Publisher)
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Undergraduate students (must have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate study)
- Graduate students
- Recent graduates (up to 2 years out of school)
- Career-changers currently enrolled in a degree program
- International students (J-1 or F-1 Visa required)
- Must be physically located in and have a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia for the duration of their employment
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with a performing arts organization strongly recommended
