About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Network Infrastructure & Automation Engineering Intern to join our Enterprise Infrastructure team located in Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule! This internship is designed for a student who wants exposure to how modern, large-scale enterprise networks are engineered, automated, monitored, secured, and operated. Rather than focusing on a single technology, you will work alongside experienced engineers across a diverse technology stack spanning data center networking, load balancing, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, infrastructure automation, observability, security, cloud integrations, and network management platforms. This is a hands-on learning opportunity. You will not simply observe the team—you will participate in real engineering projects, build automation, analyze infrastructure, improve documentation, and help solve problems in a production-scale technology environment. You will be paired with experienced engineers who will provide mentorship throughout the internship and help you develop both your technical skills and your understanding of enterprise IT engineering. Join Labcorp’s 2027 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 12-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.
