About The Position

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern you will work with engineers and department personnel to learn the processes and apply the principles of the MAHLE Production System (MPS).
Learn piston manufacturing and support processes. May utilize methods involved in manufacturing to perform engineering, maintenance, set-up, production, clerical or other duties.
Learn how to repair and maintain production machines and equipment.
Assists with 5S activities by working on projects to improve the overall appearance of the plant, according to MPS methodologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and currently enrolled in college, pursuing a technical degree.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications software is preferered for this position holder.
