Requirements

  • Current enrollment or pursuit of a two-year technical degree or four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Interest in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, or construction services.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field and laboratory testing of aggregate, soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
  • Collect, prepare, and document material samples and test results in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Support construction observation and inspection activities on active project sites.
  • Operate, maintain, and assist with the usage, setup and calibration of testing equipment.
  • Complete daily reports, field documentation, and other project records.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and project teams to support project delivery.
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
