The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will provide support, problem-solving, and operator training to the manufacturing floor. The intern will collaborate with the program team to improve quality, yield, and efficiency, and meet customer schedules. Responsibilities include supporting and executing root cause corrective actions, and researching, developing, and executing continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with site leadership. Essential Functions include providing support to technical employees related to the intern's area of study, assisting with technical tasks and project support, supporting equipment setup and monitoring tests and experiments, observing results, collecting data, and compiling summaries and reports. The intern will learn technical processes and procedures, and job shadow experienced professionals. They may also support the documentation and updates of procedures or work instructions and handle basic issues and problems.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in related Technical courses or be within 6 months of graduation.
  • No prior experience needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and assist the manufacturing floor with support, problem solving and operator training.
