About The Position

Land Interns will be mentored by senior land professionals as they manage the company’s mineral and leasehold interests for an assigned geographical area by obtaining the legal right to drill oil and gas wells on a specific property. Interns will also monitor and report competitor activity on a larger prospect-wide scale. Interns are expected to work in a safe manner at all times and demonstrate company core values. This position will be located in either the Spring, TX corporate office or the Oklahoma City, OK corporate office. The location will be determined and communicated at a later date.

Requirements

Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications.
Able to learn company specific applications
Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to work effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
Able to effectively abide company policies, procedures, and technology
Able to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Able to manage information with accuracy and critical attention to detail
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
Able to learn company-specific applications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in an American Association of Professional Landman (AAPL) accredited program required
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Will graduate no earlier than December 2027
