About The Position

This position will support our IT Infrastructure team as a Summer Intern from May 2026 - August 2026 and will be based in Nashville, TN. This is a paid, full- time internship. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Assist with day-to-day infrastructure operations, including monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting network and cloud environments. Participate in specific projects such as: Network: Configuring switches, routers, and firewalls; assisting with network performance monitoring. Systems Administration: Supporting server builds, patching, and user account management. Cloud: Working on cloud resource provisioning, cost optimization, and automation scripts. Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles. Collaborate with team members and learn best practices in IT infrastructure management. Engage with leaders across the company to understand strategic technology initiatives. Gain hands-on experience with enterprise-level infrastructure tools and technologies. Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in real-world IT environments. Understand the fundamentals of network, systems, and cloud administration within a corporate setting

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Computer Science
  • Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, or AWS)
  • Understanding of virtualization and containerization (VMware)
