About The Position

South Dakota Investment Council is seeking a motivated intern to join our Investment Management team to focus on the use of AI tools to augment our investment process. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to sit at the intersection of institutional investing and applied AI to support valuation analysis and research.

Requirements

• Must have interest in and aptitude for use of AI.
• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply.
• By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.
• Applicant must be a current part-time or full-time student (minimum of 6 credit hours) in upcoming semester or in the immediately preceding semester.
