Requirements

  • Solid understanding of hardware, software, and networking fundamentals relevant to enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms, including basic configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices to support safe and secure IT operations.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Introductory experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or C# to support automation and development tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adjust to dynamic work environments and team needs.
  • Ability to contribute positively to team efforts, share knowledge, and support group objectives.
  • Must be actively enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field)

  • Any hands-on projects completed as part of academic curriculum—such as system setup labs, network simulations, software development assignments, or cybersecurity exercises—are considered a strong advantage and should be highlighted during application or interviews.

Responsibilities

  • Help Desk Support: Provide hardware and software troubleshooting assistance.
  • System and Network Monitoring: Assist in monitoring system performance and network health.
  • Deployments and Upgrades: Help implement new systems and perform server updates.
  • Cybersecurity Initiatives: Contribute to security tasks like scans and compliance checks.
  • Script and Application Development: Write scripts or small applications to automate tasks.
  • Documentation and Inventory: Maintain accurate documentation and manage inventory of IT assets.
