About The Position

Information Technology Intern

Provide support to the organization by maintaining information technology
systems and hardware.

Requirements

• Majoring in Computer Scenes, Information Technology or related field
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Have completed at least one semester of college
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants are responsible for transportation to and from the internship/co-op experience
• Housing will not be provided for applicants during the internship/co-op experience
• Hours per week: Part-time 30 ~ 40 hours
• Wage/Salary: $18.50-$20

Responsibilities

• Assist with PC hardware setup, printer installation, IP phone setup, computer imaging, and basic Microsoft Windows configuration in a networked environment.
• Support day-to-day network and software tasks, including troubleshooting common issues for end users under the guidance of the IT team.
• Provide basic technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person, escalating issues as needed.
• Learn and help document IT processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with testing, system updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Participate in IT projects by assisting with research, setup, testing, and implementation activities.
• Observe and support IT team members in analyzing business needs and identifying technology solutions.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines (OSHA, EPA, and site Environmental Policy).
• Complete assigned tasks and projects while developing technical and professional skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department.
